About Brisa
Brisa was raised in the jungle of Costa Rica by her surf instructor parents. At eight years old, she was transplanted to Oahu’s North Shore for her school years before spending chunks of her teenage summers in Fiji. Her transient childhood gave her access to some of the world’s best waves, where she fell in love with surfing and honed her style to be both powerful and smooth. Her finish as the World No. 11 in her rookie year helped her qualify to represent Costa Rica at the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympic Games.
